I was fiddling around with this weeks challenge, which is to write a children’s song inspired by an assigned book, I got Bambi.  I started singing some random lines, and then it hit me, the word bambino.  Maybe that is why they named the boy deer with such a girly name… Either way, I think I might use it. My son is happy cause he has a new book, and we have read it 3 times since Monday.  I think I might have a surprise in store for Monday, so be sure you tune in….

Anna is gone, and that is a shame.  We had become fast friends since we met three weeks ago, and she will be missed.  Her and I had hoped to get paired up if there was a duet challenge, yes, so we could combine our names and call ourselves the “Wankers” lol.  We still might work out a duet, just for giggles.

The summer song challenge was tough, I spent all week working on a song.  Changing musical parts, writing and rewriting lyrics, rehearsing it.. Then on Sunday I went downstairs and wrote an entirely new song and used it… That’s how it goes sometimes.  You can work and work trying to force something.  And then you can just shut your mouth and listen to the words as they escape your brain… Try to catch them on paper as fast as you can before they slip away.  I hope you like my brain drippings ..
