Hey everyone!
Monday marked the end of spring break, and this week I’ve found myself thrust back into the education system. Lately school has been a source of much frustration. Going to college is basically like having a full time job. And with my part time job on top of that, there’s hardly any time left for music! I am in fact sitting in a lecture hall as I write this (paying close attention, as usual).
Last night we had a show at the Frequency with Empire State Express (Chicago) and Coming Undone (Florida)–it was a great time! If you haven’t been to the Frequency before, make sure to go check it out. Darwin Sampson, the owner, is awesome. He will hook you up with some amazing sex machines. That’s a shot, by the way. Get your minds out of the gutter.
This is normally the spot I’d insert a funny story or anecdote, but my life has been strangely uneventful in the past couple weeks…school, work, school, work, and then some schoolwork. So our next Project M challenge is to write a summer song…which really IS a challenge considering the nasty weather we’ve been experiencing lately! I don’t know about you, but I have definitely not been walking on sunshine. But in a couple months it will be summertime and the living will be easy. The summer breeze will make me feel fine. There will be girls that wear abercrombie and fitch, but watch out for that chinese food cause it could make you sick. And if your girl leaves you, have no fear because she’ll probably be back after the boys of summer have gone.
Okay. That’s all I’ve got. Peace out home skillets.
